Covid-19 Vaccine Information

Covid-19 Vaccine Info

Covid-19 vaccines were developed using a safe, transparent process. They are the best way to protect yourself and your family from Covid-19 and to return to normal life. The Tule River Public Health Authority strongly encourages everyone to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

There are 3 vaccines currently authorized in the United States: Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson. All 3 are effective against Covid-19 and any known variants, including the delta variant. The Pfizer and Moderna require two shots, while the Johnson and Johnson is only one shot. All vaccines have small side effects, such as fatigue, nausea, headache, and muscle ache.
